Main technical features:

According to the production conditions of domestic 265 m2 sintering machine, while hot screen is cancelled, the cooling effect of 280 m2 rotary cooler for 265 m2 sintering machine is not good, and the area of rotary cooler shall be increased. In the design the area of rotary cooler is increased to 360 m2.

By canceling the hot sinter screening system, the continuousness of production can be improved, and the environment of discharge end can be improved so as to reduce the platform level of main building and reduce the resistance loss of main exhaust system, with compact arrangement, smooth material flow and saved investment.

All production system equipment adopts process interlocking and integrated control and automatic monitoring means of critical equipment so as to considerably improve the control level of production process.

Automatic proportioning process is adopted. In order to improve stability of proportioning process and realize process detection and control, metering and control are realized through electronic metering belt scale (proportioning accuracy reaching ±1%) which is currently experienced relatively for ferrous materials, coke powder, dolomite and quick lime. The cold return sinter and cleaned dust circulated in the plant will be used for proportioning and metering.

Sintering with full quick lime is adopted to increase material temperature by using the heat of quick lime slaking and improve the mixing and pelletizing effect.

Hot waste of 600℃-800℃ produced by gas generation furnace is fed to the mixing and nodularizing machine to increase the temperature of mix by over 10℃.

Several means are adopted to improve the nodularizing effect. By increasing the length of mixer, the mixing and nodularizing time is extended. The total mixing and nodularizing time is 8.68 min. hydraulic coupling is adopted for controlling rotation speed of nodularizing machine so that the speed of nodularizing machine can be step less controlled between 0-7.5 rpm.

Infrared online moisture detection device is adopted to detect water content of mixer and realize automatic addition of water content of mix.

Grate layer material process of sinter is adopted. After screening of finished sinter, the sinter of 10-20 mm will be uniformly distributed onto pallet through moving hopper as grate layer material. The thickness of grate layer material is 30 – 40 mm to improve the air permeability of material bed and protect the pallet grating from sticking and loss for reasonable control of sintering end point.

Sintering with thick material bed is adopted. The thickness of material bed of sintering machine pallet is 700 mm (including 30-40mm grate layer material).

Air box of sintering machine adopts double-side extraction. Sintering fume enters main exhaust fan respectively through 2 main fume ducts. Effective measures are taken to reduce mutual interference between double fans and increase sintering air flow.

Dust of dedusting hopper of fume duct and dust of dedusting hopper of ESP are discharged to the discharging belt conveyor through electrohydraulic double-layer dust discharging valve and then they are collected to the proportioning bin of 1# sintering machine for proportioning metering.

The inner side of main fume duct and air box are coated with wearing resistance material, and external heat insulation layer is provided with thickness of δ=100mm to ensure sealing of air system and reduce maintenance of future.

Apron feeder is used instead of electric vibrating feeder below discharging hopper of rotary cooler.

The screening system adopts double series cantilever vibrating screen for finished sinter screening.

Dust produced during sintering will be recovered and recycled in the plant. Meanwhile dust humidifying process is adopted to reduce secondary dust.

Power-less method is used to feed the hot air of rotary cooler to the front section of sintering machine for sintering with hot air.

All proportioning bins are equipped with material level meter for detecting material level.
