Contract Scope:

Starting from tilting belt conveyor to the first belt conveyor at exit of rotary cooler (including auxiliary process equipment, excluding two return material belt conveyors and hoppers below roller type distributor).

Main technical features:

Compact and reasonable general layout of the pelletizing project, with smooth material flow, and meanwhile considering easy production and maintenance.

Complete process flow within battery limit and advanced technical index.

Intensified mixer is selected to intensify mixing homogeneousness of concentrated ore and bentonite, reduce consumption of bentonite and improve strength of green pellet.

Attention paid to quality of green pellet, adopting combined distribution mode as tilting belt conveyor + wide belt conveyor + roller type distributor to accurately control quality of distribution.

Combination of gas circulating system and advanced process flow both at home ant abroad, and improvement made to maximize recovery of gas waste heat, saving fuel and reducing energy consumption.

Rotary cooler for cooling pellet to ensure cooling effect, complete recovery of cooling waste heat, circulating use of cooling waste gas for energy saving and prevention of environmental pollution.

Advanced and proper process equipment adopted, with imported critical equipment to improve equipment level of pelletizing plant. Proper improvement made to details of chain grate machine, rotary kiln and rotary cooler considering production experiences both at home and abroad to extend life time of equipment and for easy installation, maintenance and worker operation.

Production process flow:

Distribution – drying and preheating – roasting – cooling function, parameters and technical description of relevant sub items in process flow: Production capacity of new pelletizing shop is 1.5 MT/a, and the annual working time of shop is 330 days, i.e. 7920 hours. The availability is 90.4%, adopting 4 shifts with 3 shifts working in turn.

Data of pellet production line main equipment:

Mixer: continuous intensified mixer, 350 t/h; chain grate machine, 4.5×57 m, effective area 253.5 m2; rotary kiln 6.1×40.0 m, effective volume 964 m³; rotary cooler 22 m, effective area 150 m².
